Has anyone ever heard of a Crown Coupe???

I bought a 1979 2 door caprice earlier this year and are still trying to find info on it. I am puzzled that mines has a metal plate on top of the car instead of the vinyl roof. It also has Crown Coupe on the side and I can't find other caprice of its kind. I need of help to see what I have!!! Thanks

I know, I have been looking everywhere, and I mean everywhere for something like this and can't find nothing. Crazy part is that this is how it came, and I wonder if it came from the dealership like this???

nah i dont think that came from the dealer like that, but then again you never know, with all the stuff they want to add on now a days, but if it was an add on, i feel like i should have seen another one, at least one like that, did you ask the previous owner? See if you can track down the original owner and ask them.
