    I wish i had more pics of this car, I found it in google images, but strips actually dont look too bad on these cars

    I like it.  When I was in high school a friend of mine had a black 79 2-door with white racing stripes front to back similar to that pic above.  The car also had a 454 in it.  It was sweet looking and FAST.  I ended up buying a 79 2-door a year later because I loved the back window (that and my parents said NO to Firebird).  They said I was allowed a BIG car only.  I made a good choice.

    I have seen stripes that were well done on a Caprice but they were more like these that the Chevelle had.

    I really like the look of the "SS" stripes on the 77-79's! When it comes time to paint mine they will be done ghost style!
