Hello everyone, I'm from Tennessee, been a car nut since I can remember. Here is some pics of my B-body cars one is a 1980 Buick Lesabre coupe which is my first car from 1991. It was a factory 4.1L V6 car. I'm finally getting around to fixing it up.Rebuilt a 455 Olds, 400 turbo, had the pwr windows and locks redone, detailed the engine bay, had the driveshaft shortened, made a custom transmission crossmember, made solid engine mounts, modified the 307 AC brackets to fit the 455 so I could run a newer compressor, made my valve cover nuts,a distribution block that mocks a spark plug socket for the oil pressure dash light and a gauge, repaired the heater box, new heater core, brakes,AC parts, shocks and springs all around new hood, trunk struts, maplight rear view mirror, modern dome light, pwr trunk rel., also repaired the flopping steering column and got the horn working again and so on. The other was a one owner 1987 loaded Caprice with a little over 75,000 miles on it that I have done a lot to since purchasing it. New .060 over 350 engine I built, tires, saved the era wheels from the scrapyard lots of work and polishing, new rear springs, stereo, spare tire cover, factory jack, tire tool, windshield, exhaust, headliner, fixed the AC,new hoses, belts, turn signal lenses, fan clutch, battery, and so on.

Welcome to the Forum!!  Nice rides you have there.  I love that 2-door Lesabre.  I haven't seen one of those in YEARS.  I always liked those cars.  That Caprice is sharp too!  Can't go wrong with an Olds 455.  My buddy has one in a 68 Hurst Olds and it's super fast!!

Thanks guys, those are only two of my projects. I also have a 79 Malibu,a late 40's to mid 50's International harvester cub tractor, 85 GMC long bed and a 85 Silverado, I'm putting a 454 in the Silverado hopefully this year. I'm insane with that many projects going at once, minus the tractor can't wait to restore it either.

For now it's still the one it was born with 7.5 with either a 2:29 or a 2:93 gear can't remember which but leaning towards the 2:93. I want to go with a 9 in ford with a 3:42-3:50 gear and disc brakes.

I know that 7.5 wont hold up long behind that! but that 9inch definitely will. I want to put a 8.5 with a 3.08 or 3.42 from a 94-96 impala or 9c1 caprice with discs. My new gm goodwrench crate motor has already ate up my 7.5 rear and were talking only 260 horses but a healthy 350 ft lbs torque. Ive got the 2.41 ratio in now and its quite sluggish off the line, but i still manage to beat the little imports haha.
