i have a 77 caprice 2 dr with a 350/300 hp crate engine. i'm upgrading the front suspension first. would upper and lower control arms from Summit for a 96 impala ss be considered an upgrade over the factory originals? don't want to spend "A" arm money. along with the ss control arms, i was going to install the ss lowering springs. the car has factory F41 suspension. thanks for any and all advise

Re: suspension upgrade
Thise control arms are exactly the same as any other b body, only difference would be the quality of the installed ball joints and bushings. Unless your upgrading the lower ball joints to the larger 5/8 inch, those only came on the 96 caprice 9c1, and the Astro/Safari vans up to 2005 2wd only. Those vans use the same upper and lower control arms.

Re: suspension upgrade
Grab some from a junkyard, and upgrade to the larger lower ball joints
