I think this turned out way better than i hoped! some are gonna say it looks ugly without more pie cuts but they havent seen the finished product yet. im not gonna be an idiot and run a tiny little air filter on a 600+ hp engine. im gonna run one it needs

currently building a pcm mount. decided to make it about 3.5" above the fender just behind the head lights. that way i can still access wiring without pulling the pcm. the pcm is sitting on a temp mount when i was trying to figure out how how to mount it

when you have your own bone yard for your fleet you tend to get some of the most random but yet feasible parts for your projects.

turbo is mounted, wastegate dump pipe is fabbed and mounted. were going to be changing to a turbosmart comp 40mm gate due to the height issue.
did get the O2 sensors in and started plumbing the boost controller. should be able to drive it tonight. just need to get the down pipe assembled and secured for now.

wanted to post this incase some of you dont know this trick. but i pored some crappy dirt filled coolant into this filtered funnel and it wouldnt come out. i recommend this to anyone at home to invest in some paint filters and use them when installing any coolant from an old container. i was going to vacuum fill my system but left my vacuum set at work. so this had to do for now.

GM B-Body Forum wrote:Looking good man! It amazes me to see how monstrous that balancer bolt is compared to a sbc bolt! Goodness!! Idk if anyone else saw the video of engine masters where they completely bashed a set of headers to see if they robbed power and they ended up making more power, made me think of that when I seen your pic of your headers.
well turns out once the header warms up it expands to the point that the steering joint rubs the header again. so i ordered a borgeson u joint to replace this one end. now i can remove the header and wrap it

Re: *the goose*
it runs and drives. Didnt get it hot enough to get the t stat to open, partially because of the tunning. I was able to take my little girl for a ride on her birthday. so it made all mine and my brothers hard work worth it.
going to be installing a new steering u joint, wrapping the left side header and cross pipe. then installing the down pipe with a wide band in it. Im going to get it tuned because she puffs like an old 2 stroke at idle with these big injectors
have a small transmission leak to fix and tidy up some wiring before it get tuned. also ordered springs for the turbosmart 40mm waste gate. so now it will clear the hood instead of rubbing against it. Have a new air filter on order as well once its in then ill mount the grill. pcm mount still isn't done either
on a side note the head light buckets from randy should be here today along with the right hand marker light housing. so ill get those done tonight hopefully. i have some trucklight led 4x6 lowbeam headlights sitting here waiting to go in as well. it will be so nice to see in this car at night without the high beams on
once the winter comes ill go back through the excess engine wiring and really do some cleaning and securing.
