Re: 1979 Impala doors
Might be a dumb question but are the 1979 Caprice doors the same as 1979 Impala doors? Where are you located? I have a parts car I would like to strip in the spring. If you are not too far away from me I may be able to help you out. I am roughly here 44.4341° N, 81.3929° W.

I currently only have the regulators in the doors the OP asked about. I may have some available for a 1981 Impala if I remove the glass and regulators out of my drag car. Still building a floor so I have not decided or worried about other parts of the project yet.

1979 doors
BrokenBlazerDave: Are you in the Ontario province?
I'm looking for both left and right doors. Plain(not powered) if possible.
How are the fenders left/right?

Re: 1979 Impala doors
I am located in Port Elgin. See attached map. I am interested in getting rid of anything off of the car. Where are you in Michigan? I can come closer to the border also. I pick up stuff at SCC parcel pickup in Port Huron sometimes. I would have to look and see what condition everything is in. The body was reasonable when I bought it but the interior is bad because mice lived in it for a long time.

79 Parts
Port Huron is not bad. I'm in the middle of Michigan. Northwest of Bay City.
When you get a chance, check out the doors, hood and fenders. My doors are roll up type.
The car was from Connecticut and the door bottoms are gone. Another great Seller story(its perfect)
Let me know when you get the time to look.
Thanks

Re: 1979 Impala doors
The stuff is in reasonable shape considering it is from Ontario. It is definitely not from Arizona. The paint is flaking away from the drain holes on the doors. I can't tell if it had some extra seam sealer added and that is why it looks like it is flaking so bad. They are power doors, as you can see from the pictures. The fenders look OK from the outside but I need help getting the hood off because I stole the hinges for my Buick. I bought the car for the rear axle to replace the odd ball 9.75" Buick rear axle in my Buick. I thought about keeping the inner fenders in case I wanted to put some back in my 4 door. I do not have any other love for this car so if you were closer to my neighborhood and helped me pull the parts off I would probably give them to you. I just ran back over to the car and jackknifed off some seam sealer which seems to be more like bathroom caulk but it is relatively solid under it. I did poke around the drain holes and it seems OK.

Thanks for the update.
I'm too busy to travel to Canada and tear down the car.
Thanks the same.
